Jenna Edwards a obtenu un Baccalauréat en Photographie de Ryerson University, où on lui a également décerné le Prix Best Graduating Student pour l’exposition annuelle Maximum Exposure. Depuis la fin de ses études, elle s’est rendue à Paris pour assister à un atelier concernant la conservation et la gestion de collections photographiques; elle a reçu le Prix pour la meilleure photographie décerné lors du Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition de 2007, et elle a été sélectionnée pour le Flash Forward: Emerging Photographers 2007 de la Magenta Foundation, ainsi que pour leurs publications de 2008. Tout récemment, son exposition solo intitulée The Accumulated Histories: Collections of Family Photographs, présentée au Harbourfront Centre de Toronto, a été choisie comme Exposition en Lumière du Festival de la photographie CONTACT 2008. En septembre 2008, Jenna entreprendra une Maîtrise en Beaux-Arts au Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, d’Halifax.
