Sky Glabush a gradué de l’Université de la Saskatchewan en 1996, figurant sur le tableau d’honneur avec l’obtention d’un Baccalauréat en Beaux-Arts et langue Anglaise. En 2000, il déménagea aux Pays-Bas, où il était l’artiste résident à la Haagweg 4 de Leiden pour une période de six mois. Il mit alors sur pied un studio à Amsterdam et commença à exposer avec la Galerie Suzanne Biederberg. En 2003, Glabush revint s’établir au Canada, et compléta une Maîtrise à l’Université de l’Alberta. Il a récemment été nommé professeur associé à l’Université de l’Ontario Ouest, où il enseigne la peinture et le dessin. Sky Glabush a exposé ses œuvres en groupe et en solo dans des nombreuses galeries publiques à travers le Canada. Il a également exposé dans des galeries d’art commerciales et à des foires d’art à New York, à Amsterdam, à Melbourne à Toronto, à Vancouver et à travers les Prairies. Plus récemment, une de ses œuvres a été acquise par le Conseil des arts Canadien et fut inclut dans « Dialogues: the changing face of Contemporary Art » au Rideau Hall. Glabush écrit également pour des magazines d’art de renom tels que Border Crossings et Canadian Art.
