Bishop, Jack

Jack Bishop a complété un Baccalauréat en Beaux-arts avec une majeure en arts visuels et une mineure en dessin de la NSCAD University en 2007; il partage son temps entre le Nouveau-Brunswick et la Nouvelle-Écosse. Comme jeune artiste, Jack a exposé ses œuvres dans plusieurs galeries privées et publiques, telles que The Saint John Arts Centre, à Saint-Jean, N-B; à la Page and Strange Galery, Halifax, N-É; The Toronto International Art Fair, à Toronto, ON; à la The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Fredericton, N-B; à l’encan-bénéfice Art with Heart pour la Casey House, à Toronto, ON, ainsi qu’à la Art Bank du Nouveau-Brunswick, Fredericton, N-B. Parmi les prix que Jack s’est mérité, les bourses ArtsNB Creation Grants, en 2006 et 2008, ainsi que la bourse Robert Pope Foundation Painting Scholarship, en 2006. Les oeuvres de Jack se retrouvent dans les collections d’institutions privées et publiques, ainsi que dans des collections particulières.
