Born in 1979 and raised in Uxbridge, Ontario, Daniel Colby received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Halifax at NSCAD University in 2002. He is an annual participant in the Uxbridge Studio Tour as well as frequently being included in local juried exhibitions. From 2005-2010, he was awarded Best in Show six times, along with other juried awards. Colby's work can be found in many private collections and has been included in solo and group shows in Halifax (Anna Leonowens Gallery), Toronto (Paul Petro Contemporary Art, Resistor Gallery), Los Angeles (Harvey Levine Gallery), and London, Ontario (Jonathon Bancroft-Snell Gallery).
