Alicia Popoff est née en 1950 au Saskatchewan. Elle obtint son Baccalauréat en 1979, et sa Maîtrise en 1984, de l’Université du Saskatchewan, à Saskatoon. Les œuvres d’Alicia ont été présentées à travers le Canada par le biais de nombreuses expositions y compris dans des galeries d’art commerciales telles que The Gallery / Art Placement, Inc, à Saskatoon; la Galerie Ken Segal, à Winnipeg; la Galerie Upstairs, à Winnipeg et la Galerie Rochon, à Toronto. Ses expositions en musée public incluent « Lost In The Garden », en 1998, et « Passages: Theme With Variations », en 1987, à la Galerie d’art Mendel de Saskatoon.
