Isabelle Gauvreau is originally from the Ottawa-Gatineau region where she completed her studies. In 1993 she completed a diploma of college studies in visuals arts at Collège de l’Outaouais followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Ottawa where she won a bursary. During her studies she took part in a cultural exchange to France.

Isabelle has taken part in group and solo exhibitions since 1992 in Quebec and Ontario. Isabelle Gauvreau lives and works in Gatineau.
