Philip Iverson completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Mount Allison University in 1990 and exhibited regularly in galleries across Canada. He received numerous awards, testimony to his talent and the raw energy that exploded from his energetically charged portraits and landscapes. He lived and worked in Montreal, painting with oil-based pigments on wood surfaces. His artwork has appeared in such publications as The Globe and Mail, Arts Atlantic and New Artist Collective Magazine and hangs in the collections of The Imperial Oil Company, the University of New Brunswick and Colart Collection. Phillip Iverson died Aug 13, 2006 in Montreal.
