Killen, Matt
A native of Ottawa, Matt Killen holds a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master of Fine Arts at UQAM. His artistic practice shifts between visual arts (specifically painting and sound installation) and music. In 2008, he was work was published in the Magenta Foundation's book: Carte Blanche Vol.2: Painting, featuring current artists from the Canadian arts scene. He is a founding member of the Centre de Recherche Urbaine de Montréal, a collective of artists and publishers.
His work has been exhibited in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Pittsburgh. Matt Killen currently lives and works in Toronto.
