McCall, Kai
b. 1968
Kai McCall's career as a professional artist began soon after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Western Ontario in 1991. A three-time recipient of Canada Council grants (2003, 2004 and 2009), Kai has been exhibiting his work in a consistent stream of solo and group shows in North America, The United Kingdom and France. Reviews of his work have appeared in publications such as Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, The Gazette and Vie des Arts.
Kai has three work in the Colart Collection, "The Passion of Fred", “Vespa” and “Woman in Possession of a Carp”.
